Open-Heart SurgeryDied on the operating table. Resuscitated. Returned to painting with greater urgency and spiritual depth. Christ Consciousness entered the work.

Partial Sight Loss DiagnosisDiagnosed with progressive eye condition. Continued painting. Began painting from feeling rather than observation.
